Volunteer Cabin Counselor

If you would like to help as a counselor this summer you will need to attend one of our VCC training sessions

WEEKEND TRAIL RIDES
If you are looking for something the whole family can enjoy come to Camp Crucis and take up to a 1 hour guided trail ride through our 140 acres of wooded trails. After your ride stay, rest, and relax at camp, hike, fish, or just sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. The cost is only $35 per person for a whole day of fun in God's garden. Call 817-964-0442 to schedule a trail ride or riding lessons.

Memory Trails

We are preparing to build two new pave stone walkways. This is a wonderful opportunity to help out camp and have your name or the name of a loved one carved in stone and set in place at camp.

Spring Events

April 13-15 New Beginnings is scheduled for Friday through Sunday. This is a weekend retreat for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. It is an opportunity to build new relationships and renew old ones. May 17-20 Spanish Speaking Cursillo is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to explore their relationship with God. It is a time of renewal and refocusing your life. Cursillo will equip you with the tools to a closer walk with Christ, while engulfing you in a loving and encouraging atmosphere. Bishop Iker Golf Challenge June 1 The annual Bishop’s Challenge Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 1, at the Squaw Valley Golf Courses in Glen Rose. The tournament format is a four-person scramble. Play begins at 8:30 a.m., and lunch will be waiting when you return to the clubhouse. Prizes are awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. A Senior Flight will be offered again this year for foursomes with all members aged 60 or over. Hole sponsorship opportunities are available, too, for your business, ministry, or parish. Mark your calendar now and rally your foursome for this fun and relaxing day on the links, with all proceeds benefiting Camp Crucis. Parish coordinators are taking sign-ups now.
