Application Instructions

  
 
Volunteer Cabin Counselors are the direct link to campers during our summer camp program. They are responsible for providing love, safety, enthusiasm,
and energy for every camper and are a vital part of the Summer Camp Team.
  
 

Please mail application or apply online by March 12th, 2010.
Include $40 registration fee for VCC training.

Upon receipt of completed registration forms, including references, a confirmation e-mail will be sent and you will be eligible to attend one of the training sessions.

 
 


VCC Training Program

In order to support and encourage the cabin counselor staff, the Leadership Team and the Senior Staff put on the VCC Training Program. The purpose of this training is to give potential summer camp volunteers information and ideas for making Summer Camp spirit filled, safe and fun for everyone!

Completing the VCC Training Program does not guarantee that you
will be selected to serve as a Volunteer Cabin Counselor.

HOWEVER, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR SELECTION
YOU MUST ATTEND THE VCC TRAINING PROGRAM.

  
 


Training Dates

Saturday March 20th (9 am) – Sunday March 21st
or
Sunday, June 5th(9 am)

Check in for the training at DeWolfe Hall.

Adults may attend either training, under 18yrs will be trained at the first session only.

  
 


VCC selections are made by the Leadership Team,
members of the Senior Staff and the Camp Director.

Selections will be made by mid-May for the youth counselors. Therefore we encourage you to go ahead and make your summer plans accordingly.

Your non-refundable $40 training registration fee includes meals and training materials plus a special time of fun and fellowship at Camp Crucis.
