Volunteer Cabin Counselor

Volunteer Cabin Counselors are the direct link to campers during our summer camp program. Cabin counselors are responsible for providing love, safety, enthusiasm and energy for every camper. VCC are a vital part of the summer camp team.

Adults and young adults are encouraged to participate in this rewarding ministry. To be considered you must have completed 9th grade or higher and be at least 15 years old by the beginning of the summer sessions. There is no upper age limit!

Prior to being considered for a VCC position you must attend the training that is put on by the Leadership Team and members of the Senior Staff. The purpose of this training is to provide summer camp VCC information and ideas for making this season spirit filled, safe, and fun for everyone! While counseling volunteers are subject to random drug testing.

Completing the VCC Training Program does not guarantee that you will be selected to serve as a Volunteer Cabin Counselor.

VCC selections are made by the Leadership Team, members of the Senior Summer Staff and the Camp Director.
