As always we will have fun learning in God’s Garden, enjoying the activities of sports, arts & crafts, music, swimming, nature, and horseback riding. We will be adding new things like archery to sports, percussion instruments to music time, and new exploring activities in nature. There is time set aside for worship, teaching, as well as just good old clean fun and fellowship. Summer Camp at Camp Crucis is more than just an adventure. It is a life changing experience in a safe and nurturing environment. A clergy volunteer is resident at the camp throughout the session; our paid and volunteer staff sees to it that everyone has a good time in a safe wholesome atmosphere. Three meals are served each day and snacks from the canteen are served twice daily. Each camper receives a T-shirt at registration and takes home a group photo when the session ends. Parents are encouraged to attend the session’s closing worship service and then join us for dinner and a slideshow before saying goodbye.
Family Camp is special time at Camp Crucis. This is an opportunity for Mom or Dad (or Grandma or Grandpa) to participate right alongside a young camper who is between 4 years old (prekindergarten) and 3rd grade. This session is ideal for the first-time camper and allows parents to get in on the fun of summer camp, too!
Confetti Sessions focus on the elementary school ages, grades K through 5, in a fun, spirit-filled Christian community. The confetti conference is a great opportunity for these ages to have fun and grow in their walk with Christ within the camp atmosphere.
Teen sessions focus on our teens in grades 7 through 12. Our Senior High session is open to all teens who have completed the 9th through the 12th grades. Our Junior High session is for teens who have completed the 6th through the 8th grades. Within a loving, accepting Christ-centered community, teens are challenged to develop their spiritual life. This is a fun, joyful community of Christian faith development. This year we will be adding Senior Confetti for 7th-12th grades to end the summer.
